Introducing the future of comfort for your best friend
Vet approved orthapedic support
Our Tri-layer SoftCell™ memory foam has been called “the new standard for dog bed comfort and support” by leading vets around the country.
Heating and cooling without compromise
No corners were cut when engineering our heating and cooling system for the Kippi Dog Bed. The natural clay inside our kippiclay™ packs is 100% safe for pets. When inserted into the foam of the bed the packs are insulated allowing the warming and cooling effects to last for hours.
Flexibilty and longevity with our modular design
Our new modular approach to the dog ded means you can upsize, downsize, reconfigure and reuse your Kippi Dog Bed, however you like for your dog’s whole life.
The science behind the best kips imaginable
Our Tri-layer SoftCell™ memory foam is designed to provide an even distribution of support to your dog’s joints. The base of the bed contains two layers of strong, breathable and supportive foam. The top layer is a lofty memory foam that provides rejuvination and restoration to dog joints, muscles and aches. For dogs big and small, this is rest like they’ve never felt before.
Staying comfortable in Australia’s harsh climate
Many dogs feel uncomfortable in the tropical humidity of the far north or the crisp chill of the southern states. Seeing your beloved companion take refuge on the cold hard tiles is something we’ve all experienced. So we engineered a cooling and heating solution that dogs would be naturally drawn to, while being able to sleep on a surface that is great for their joints. Insert a kippiclay™ pack or two directly into the side zipper pocket to give your dog instant relief and comfort when they’re feeling a bit too warm or cold.
Kippi is recommended by Australian Vets
"Kippi's SoftCell™ memory foam is the new standard for orthopaedic dog bed support. kippiclay™ is also an wonderful tool for undertaking heat therapy for senior dogs in the comfort of your own home”

How we reimagined dog beds for the modern home
Our designers had a distinct vision for reinventing the dog bed look. Traditionally dog beds are a circular shape and when placed on the floor do not easily integrate into the aesthetic of most modern homes. The Kippi Dog Bed was designed to sit flush with straight lines, walls, corners and edges, and the modular aspects mean it’s even easier to customize and place somewhere that looks great in your home. We hope you’ll enjoy being able to proudly put your luxury dog bed on display as a new piece of home décor.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
When you purcahse your first Kippi Dog Bed online, you should have a fleece cover auto-selected at no additional cost. We consider our fleece covers to be our "basic" cover so they are included with your beds. If you would like to purchase a premium or luxury cover with your first Kippi Dog Bed you can simply click through the different cover options and pay a little extra on your first time purchase. You will see the prices adjusting automatically as you select each cover style.
-
Covers do not need to be purchased seperately or in certain quantities. You will simply receive a number of covers that matches the number of beds you are ordering. If you purchase two beds you will receive two covers, if you purchase three beds you will receive three covers. The only caveat to this is that if you want to pay a little extra for premium covers, you will pay the same extra amount for each additional bed unit (which is attributed to the extra covers).
-
Our modular design means you can create up to 4 unique layouts by joining 1-4 beds together. You get flexibility if you want to upsize or downsize your pooch's space when rearranging your home. For puppies, the modular design is perfect because they can start with one small bed as a puppy and then when they outgrow one bed you can simply attach a second bed and expand their space! Kippi is a brand new company and our future plans for the modular aspects of our dog bed are endless… We have so many ideas and can't wait to release more modular pieces to attach to our bed.
-
You will use a special piece called the Kippi Biscuit to join two beds together. Your Kippi biscuit would have arrived with the rest of your order. The biscuit is a small rectangular-shaped piece with double sided Velcro and a little handle. To connect two beds together, firstly make sure you have an external cover attached to both of the beds you want to connect. We recommend flipping both beds upside down, making sure they are orientated the way you'll want them once you're finished joining them. Once upside down, look at the non-slip base and you should see the Velcro slots where the Kippi Biscuit will connect to on the beds. Line the biscuit up to the beds with the little handle facing the floor (if you're connecting the beds right way up the handle should also face up). From here it's a simple case of joining the double sided Velcro together on both of the beds you're connecting, with the single biscuit. If you're connecting them upside down you should be able to get the Kippi dog beds to be connected completely flush with no gap.
To connect more than two beds together, simply repeat this process with additional biscuits. You should always have received enough biscuits to join together the number of beds you purchased. If you think you are missing your biscuit(s) please contact us immediately so we can organise this for you.
-
Absolutely. Many of our customers buy a single bed for their small puppy and later come back to buy more units to attach when they are growing! Purchasing additional units is also a great opportunity to try out some new cover options, but don't worry the base cover is included with every Kippi Dog Bed purchase.
-
We made a handy sizing guide which you can view here.
-
Yes, you can wash the external cover, the internal cover and the Kippi biscuit on a gentle cold machine wash. We do not recommend putting the foam or the heating and cooling packs into a washing machine. Instead you can use a damp cloth to pat the foam down to clean it. We do not recommend tumble drying any component.
-
Yes! Our bed is made with high quality, durable materials with an immaculate finish in the inside and outside. While we don't think any luxury dog bed is truly indestructible, we have thought out how best to hinder dogs efforts to chew critical areas of the Kippi Dog Bed. Examples of this would be:
- The little pockets the zips tuck into when closed to keep them out of reach
- Our modular connecting device (the Kippi biscuit) sits on the underside, so unless the bed is flipped there is no way for dogs to get to it
- Our more scratch resistant dog bed covers like the linen style
-
While our covers are not waterproof, each bed has an internal removable liner around the foam that is waterproof. This means any accidents, drool, licking or a wet pooch will not get through to the foam. If liquid is spilt on the bed the foam should also remain protected. All you need to do in the case of an accident or an overly wet dog using their bed is to remove the external cover, the internal cover and wash both. For particularly naughty dogs we recommend getting a linen cover as they are the most durable.
-
If you're looking for a puppy bed you've come to the right place! The Kippi Dog Bed is modular, which means you can purchase our smallest size for your puppy and attach additional units to our bed as your puppy grows up. No more throwing out puppy beds as your dog gets older!
-

Usually dogs will take a liking to their new Kippi Dog Bed pretty quickly. However, it can sometimes take a few weeks for your pooch to really settle into their new space. We're confident most dogs will eventually love their bed, however there are certainly some things you can do to help them on their way:
- First things first, it would be good to wash the cover of your bed(s). The various smells it may have picked up during manufacturing, packing and transit could be off-putting to your dog.
- Do you have an old dog bed you're replacing? It could be good to remove the cover of that bed and lay it on the new bed to make it seem more familiar. Anything you can do to try and transfer the familiar scent. By the same token anything you can do to get your own scent on the bed may also help. You could lay a t-shirt or something on there to get them used to it.
- Try using kippiclaytm Heating and Cooling packs in your Kippi Dog Bed! We designed this so that your dog would be naturally drawn to the warmth of the packs in cool temperatures or the cool of the packs in warm temperatures. This could be key to getting your dog to use your Kippi Bed regularly.
- Think about where you're putting the bed. It should be somewhere central nearby where the humans hang out. In the living room by the couch is always a good idea, and we've designed the Kippi Dog Bed to be able to sit flush against walls and corners, too.
- Think about how you get your dog to do other things! As an owner you should have your tricks like treats or rewards. Try that for getting them to lay on the bed.
- Give it time, dogs are always experimenting with new spots to laze and we're sure eventually the Kippi Bed will be used!
-
Don't panic! This is completely normal as the foam inside just needs to return to its original form after being compressed and shipped. Within 2 hours you should see your bed start to take shape, and within 48 hours your bed should be just about back to normal. If it's been over 7 days and your foam appears to have an issue please send a photo to hello@kippidogbeds.com and we will get back to you with instructions.
-
Our kippiclay™ heating and cooling packs are made with a unique clay-based composition that is safe for dogs. The Kippi Dog Bed has also been designed to keep these packs inside the cover of bed and out of reach of dogs that chew. Please follow the instructions on the back of the packs carefully and take additional care when using the pack heated up.
-
Kippi Dog Bed covers can be cold machine washed on delicate settings. There is no limit to how many times you can wash your covers, they are very durable. To remove the cover, flip the bed upside down and unzip the two sides around the base. Remove the main piece of foam. Find the zip with the bolster enclosed within. Unzip that area and remove the bolster foam piece. Repeat this process backwards to reassemble after washing your external cover.
-
The internal cover is machine washable. Cold wash, dry on low for no more than 10-15 minutes. Drying the liner on high temperature settings will destroy the waterproof backing.
-
Have you found yourself in a situation where you've spilt something on the foam or got it dirty? If you ever need to wash the foam follow these simple steps:
- Isolate the specific area that needs cleaning
- Soak it in warm soapy water for 5 minutes
- Using a dry towel or cloth press down on the area to extract as much moisture as possible
- Avoid twisting or wringing the foam as it could tear
- Lay the foam flat in a well-ventilated dry space that is not in direct sunlight until completely dry (this may take a few days)
